Dan Long
Owner & Founder
Dan is the founder and owner of Long Electric. He is responsible for the operations, sales, and growth of the business.
Dan had a vision in 1999 to start his business with growth in our community.
Dan started Long Electric in 2004 with just one employee. In 2008, he had eight employees and three company trucks. Fast forward to 2021, Long Electric has 61 employees and 23 company trucks!
Dan`s vision for growth in our community and the surrounding areas continues to blossom. In his off time, Dan loves fishing and going to the beach.
Judy Long
Office Manager
Judy Long is our ”Master of Office Operations.” She began as the office mgr at Long Electric in 2013 after serving as a loan officer for a local credit union for 9 years.
Judy oversees all accounting, employee relations, and development to ensure Long Electric keeps moving forward. Judy knows our business inside and out! She adds over 15 years of skill and knowledge to keep everyone at Long Electric on the same page.
In her spare time, Judy enjoys reading and hanging out with her furry best friend, Bentley. She also enjoys crafting projects that she then gives away to people. Judy is truly the people person of Long Electric, that’s how she earned the nickname ”Momma Judy”
Rick
Lead Supervisor
Rick was Long Electric’s first employee! Back in 2004, he worked his way up the ranks and today he is the Lead Supervisor, over-seeing all of our new home electrical work! Rick has been an integral part of our company’s growth over the years. Rick’s valuable leadership and unwavering loyalty is a big reason for Long Electric’s success.
Rick enjoys fishing and public speaking.
Troy H.
Supervisor
Troy has been in the electrical trade for 20 years – the last 10 years with Long Electric. He is our supervisor for Saddlebrook Properties, overseeing multiple crews for their new construction projects. Troy works directly with Saddlebrook builders to ensure our electrical work runs smoothly.
Troy has received numerous compliments from our builders for leadership and organization. In his spare time, Troy enjoys riding his motorcycle and spending time with family.
Jason
Service Field Supervisor
Jason has been in the electrical field for 20 years. He attended a 2 year electrical training program. Upon graduating, Jason worked as an electrician – completing many successful electrical projects.
Since joining Long Electric in 2012, Jason has worked his way up and currently serves as the service field supervisor. Jason’s leadership and exceptional customer service has played a key roll in the growth of our service dept.
He is currently the pastor of Indian Bluff Missionary Baptist Church. Jason enjoys fishing and spending time with his kids.
Kim
Warehouse Manager
Kim has several years of warehouse mgmt. along with accounting skills. She recently joined the Long Electric Team and has already made significant improvements to our warehouse operations! Her knowledge and leadership abilities will certainly contribute to our continued growth as a company. Kim enjoys spending time with family and going to the races.
